Description

I wouldn't want to be accused of rehashing the same image again and again without improving or moving on, so this will be the last of this type. But I spent a lot of time on this, so felt I should post it. 5 renders and a lot of layering in PS for this one. The volume light to get the shadows, which may not be scientifically correct, took the longest to render. Thanks for looking.

Three sizeable masses that close together? Gravitational forces would make it possible for dust to stay suspended around them. Or you could just say it's the edge of the nebula.

i think its a style u should continue, u have some really cool ships that are just screaming out to be in scenes like these. + pakled is correct, art is expressive, it dosent always have to be technically correct :) xcellent artwork

Cool nice composition and scale. Just add a little halo effect around your planets next time. Especially when you have a strong back light. Nice job Phil;)

Volume light about bogs my machine into the dirt, but it looks great, especially in the right hands.
