Description
Syn found lady Sol waiting for him beside a fountain, the like of which one expected in a courtyard, not in the heart of a tower. A strange apperatice stood in the nitch behind her, and the air was thick with the smell of copper, telling him for certain that the ruby liquid in the fountain was blood.
"This is price of immortality," she announced, making little effort to hide the dagger in her hand, "the blessing of Slortar... the Fountain of Blood. Drink of it and join me for eternity... or feed it with your life's blood!"

Does this have anything to do with Elric of Melnibone's Stormbringer? Whether or not it does, this is still a beautiful piece. Nice, dark and gothic. It looks like it belongs in a novel as a page opposite the text. Great work! ithkinlore
