These loud buggers are great tank killers. A squadron of these flew out of a base at which my father was stationed. Great shot!

You continue to get the sharp and detailed shot of the warplanes. The A-10 is quite impressive in flying and when looking down the nose of one on the runway side..armament is impressive for such an old but still quite useful and effective airplane. Thanks for the excellent shot.

I think I'm going to love this series....(lol). No, honestly...I think war is for idiots, but you DO take excellent pictures of these war-machines. Keep them coming!!

the A10 is probably the best aircraft in the US airforce arsenal, nothing else can do what it can do and take the punishment it ca. but it is not sleek, high tech or fast, which is why the brass hate it. aside from the f22 or f35 it is one of the newer designed aircraft in the force, and because of it's mission role it is one of the most rudamentary designs flown by the pilot and not a computer control system. damn i love these beautifully ugly birds ;)

even LOOKS like the prehistoric killer she is....beauty exists where ugliness is exceeded by success of purpose (well, it's now 3:30 AM, & hope there are 100 more pix------'just made coffee & wait for sunrise). THIS IS A REAL PLEASURE.
