Born in 1973, I developed a strong interest in mathematics at a young age. This finally led me UltraFractal in August 2004. Since then I've created many images and learnt many techniques. I enjoy creating images that relate to the real world particularly texture and form. I found the association between the visualisation of mathematics and art intriguing and the desire to create fractal images will remain with me forever.

Missie, I saw this on your site, and was like "Oh yeah, sure, this is a FRACTAL, and she did it with UF?!" LOL! I would absolutely love a full explanation of the process of this one, though I can't imagine using 49 layers! That alone just blows my mind, trying to think of it! Most excellent work, and an amazing show of what UF can be used to do, not to mention your talent in using it!

Hehe Michelle I probalby would have said the same had I seen this on someone elses site. I was pretty amazed too what UF could do. Clouds, rocks, water, trees anything. I got a bit excited and carried away with all the layers and couldn't stop. Thanks to you all for the comments.

An exceptional fractal. Well done. You must have a lot of patience!

Wow, this is so cool! I also couldn't have imagined doing 49 layers on UF. Usually my images are 1-3 layers! This is a striking realism that totally thrills me. Reminds me of photos I took in Phra Nang, Krabi, Thailand!
