Egmont
The use of looking into another world or universe, the reversal of things that be is a very interesting concept. Though I do not see so much the influence of Der here, I do feel the presence of Hieronymus Bosch very strongly. I do understand the limitations and restraints placed upon you by the professors instruction in how the typography was now being applied when compared to the previous version. The little colour there is in this art work is serving its purpose very well. The rendering of the abdomen area and showing muscles becoming branches of trees or that of the animal in its transformation is very well rendered. The only area I feel still needs work are the hands. As for the execution of the concept, I feel you have hit the nail on the head so to speak.

I new I should have mentioned "The Garden of Earthly Delites". Durer influenced me through "The Fall of Man" ie horror vaccui, symbolism. The hands were supposed to be blurred w/ the illusion of movement; unfortunatly that was one of my professors 'wishes'.
