Description

MCV's Stud Wall freebie . . . It's at Renderosity free Poser stuff. My 1st 3D Daz Studio, Poser, & obj file freebie. It's not perfect, but may be useful to some. I was even able to get a Booth Babe to show off this new freebie! Hope you like the render, and are able to give the "Stud Wall" a try if you think it could fit in one of your renders. Not required, but I would enjoy knowing seeing what you do with it! 12Nov2005 Update: Thanks goes to JRoulin for tips that (hopefully) mean the DAZ Studio version is now working correctly. All comments welcome, mcv

Looks pretty cool to me, nice job! I'm not sure what I'll use it for, but I love collecting things like this - you never know what kind of idea may come from it! Thanks for the freebie!

Thanks Judy, the freebie is hosted at DeviantArts site, so you can get it now at: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/25092726/ Otherwise it should show up at renderosity freebies today (11Nov2005) or tomorrow. The Poser version works ok in Daz Studio, but is one solid lump. So the Poser version has a lighter system load, but no way to remove or pose individual boards. The Daz Stdio version is made of 18 wood boards parented together. While not a character, you can move, remove, tilt, etc. any of the boards. This does fill the Daz Surfaces list with 18 items rather than one, so for distant renders, I suggest useing the Poser version. I think I now know why the wood texture turned out so bad, but am not sure when or if I will worry about fixing this prop. People can re-texture themselves and thus I can spend the time on something new. . . . Gotta go make something new . . . mcv

I like the wood texture Mike, and the colour's pretty good too. I just hope the Booth Babe doesn't get splinters in her butt!!! LOL

real good one. I was thinking of building a house one time with the bone people working on it but put it on a back burner

Hey Mike, that is great. I wish I could make freebies like that. I so appreciate people that make freebies to use. every freebie allows people to make more creative renders. Keep up the good work Mike.
