Description
Well we are well on our way into set #2 of our Wild West series. Set 2 is "Banks & Saloons" if you are wondering where the "saloon gals" are we are saving them for set 4 or 5 "General Store & Hotel". This set is still in the early stages, the main rooms have been worked out and I am working on the furnishings. Figured I'd post a sneak peak and get any comments or suggestions that may help in the developement of the set. Will post a pic of the basic bank later.
The glasses on the counter are a smart prop for the Banker and have morphs to fit M3, V3 and A3.
I still need to do the boot rail at the base of the bar, bar stools and chairs. There will also be a Franklyn stove in the corner. The walls, as in all of our sets, are sectional each is 6 feet wide. I am still working on the section with a window in it so no windows yet in this pic.
Any suggestions for props you would like to see in this would be great. I'm thinking a deck of cards for the table and some drinking glasses are a must. Though the tough guys always just grab the bottle...lol
The bottles have 10 different mats each. Having figured out how to do a prop and a mat pose all in one file using very little drive space all the bottles are stored in the prop library with the mats applied. no need to load the prop and then go find the the mat pose, it is all done in one file. In the shadowy corner you can also see a Inkwell on the shelf, that is actualy part of the bank. It's the little square blue bottle.
I am very pleased with the way the oil lamps came out and the Brick on the walls by Richard are beautiful. Those are my favourite parts of this set so far. The brick Texture can also be applied to the walls in set one as we always make the sets interchangable.
Rendered in Poser 6 using Point Lights and the Poser 4 render engine.

"Pour me a drink, partner, I am a hanker'n to stick around this fine joint ya got and see who turns up here!" Nice workmanship, quality details, lots mighty interesting too! Just needs a Miss Kitty and a painting or mirror over the bar. (Hmm, could be bonus or extra items, mums the word.) Excellent work Mike! ~v~

pretty cool, i like it! I would suggest a poker table, some green velvet. and a stairway going upstairs to post a girl on Yahhoooo. can't wait to see the finished product, always impressed with your modeling skills, and excellent texturing skills, and the invaluble information, advice and help you've given me to help me with my modeling and texturing, I owe so much credit to you in that department, in which i say thank you! keep up the good work Mike!

Wow, some set you're developing here! This is going to be one impressive package. Now who is going to be the brave one to make a Poser version of "once upon a time in the West"? Cool!!!
