Yes, this is completely different from what I do normally and the title seems not to match the image!
This is a copy of a get-well-card I sent to my mother to make her able to show off with it around in the hospital where she's fighting cerebral cancer (and yes, she has a lot of fun to talk about "made of polygons and textures"!). The reason for posting this here:
A few minutes ago I've got a phone call from my father and he told me that my Mom had a tomography today that should make clear if the chemical therapy had some results. And - it's still unbelievable for me: There was no tumor visible. In other words: It's gone, away, destroyed!
You can imagine that we are the happiest family on the planet now (although everyone is crying) - and we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all of you that gave support with reading, writing, praying and greeting. This means a lot to us and made it a lot more easier to keep a stiff upperlip and go through all that grief. Okay, I know, we're not finished yet, still some therapies to go throug, controls and at least getting my Mom back on her feet. But the worst piece of this seems to lie behind us.

I just came upon your Get Well Card, and hope your Mom is doing better now and I think that this thought you had when you sent her this card had something to do with it, this little girl has something in her eyes that says it all.
