I try it again - this picture is a WIP and I'm still working on it. Maybe some feedback here?

What I see is a very detailed picture. As an old scifi-fan its amazing to read that this is a WIP. In my eyes this is a well done works. My taste - Great!

Take Three on this comment after two failed attempts. Now that I can see how this started its clear good composition doesn't happen by accident. I don't know if your goal is to create a consistent realistic world or an artistic experience. Both have validity for me and each choice comes with its own rules. That said, while I like the floating island ( a lot ) I question if you chose to tip it toward the viewer. In its "proper" perspective you would not see much of the house but tipped in this way makes it more of a flat element comped in to the scene. What you did with it later really worked out.

I can see there is a great deal of accomplishment behind your work and much that you could teach. This is impressive both in the originality of the image and is 80's retro styling. Great work!
