Description

SISTERS Sisters are made in Photoshop mainly. Some fractals have been used too here and there - made into photoshop brushes. I have used models - only for getting proportions right, and expressions - to some extend for highlight and shadows too. Same as with my previous works. They are digitally painted from scratch in big scale and then scaled down. The model-photos are just to look at -to get things right. I had the impression from some of the previous comments that some thought I just took the models and placed them into an environment. Still I do give the models credit - because I have used their poses/looks as a basic thing to look after while painting. If you go look at the pictures they are taken from - you will clearly see - that they are not 100% like the photos - as I have taken the liberty to make them more like I would like them to be/look for my picture. That is why I could not finish this painting for an upload yesterday - these kind of pictures take many hours to make. For this picture I have used models from deviantart.com - from the galleries of lockstock and auralis_stock. the little fairy is a s cute as a bug in the rug. I always thought that any bugs in the house is not cute, but people have funny sayings. the characters once again are very light and cheerful. superb art
