Description

Well, my annual rememberance render. I do this because, this is not just an ordinary day. We have this day off where I work and I am hoping that all will realize that if not for those that fought and died in the past, we could be living in a FAR diffentent county!! Thanks for remembering our heros today

Very nice tribute, Susan. It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes: "Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to relive it." It is good to be reminded that freedom is not a gift and the price is a high one.

Funny Veteran's day is the same day we celebrate the end of WW1 here in France. We should indeed never forget. Reinterpretation of history happens everyday, and if we forget, we'll be more likely to accept false & dangerous assumptions for historical facts.
