Description

Ironically life is a circle. About 10 years ago, an event, and its consequences changed me radically. From then on my life went another way, (i have stopped beeing a complete asshole for example lol). Anyway , some things didnt turn out that good, i dont regret.. a man has got to do what he has got to do. It has been damn tough tho, and im afraid it will get a lot tougher. Ended up in me doing this bla bla recording birth / death /marriage stuff for the community i live in. And Hell...after 10 years ..i found myself recording the incidence it all started with. I put aside that book ...took the next day off , went to a Bar in the evening vaguely remembering entering, next thing i know is waking up soaked in a wet lawn thinking i cant go to sleep here .....im missing hours !!!!. My mind is a cage , deep within i know im far to young to die and yet to old to go on living..so, caged , i stumble along the border and reach out for yet another day. Dj

We all hit road blocks in our lives, not wanting to go on, but still curious to see where our next step will lead us. We try to find a comfort in things that will only bring us down and when we're at our wits end, there is a pinlight and our curiousity starts up again. Very emotional piece with great lighting!! Thank you for sharing!!

Thank you for sharing your story with us, for some of us life is just a bit harder and I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. I hope that one day you will be able to face the next day with hope and strength instead of just living through it. You image certainly shows a lot of emotion and pain, and I hope that perhaps in your art you'll find yourself again. - Sabra

excellent emotional scene with perfect lightning and atmosphere (and for hell I really understand what you mean..they say that time will heal all wounds but there are times when all the memories that you wanted to forget come back and sometimes, in the so called quiet moments, you know that something goes wrong with your life......

It's at time like these you turn to the Boose or the Book, one darkens and the other lightens, I know which I chose, the two don't mixed for he only whispers. All the Best and God Bless. Chris Poole

I love you Dj, but I say GET OVER IT! Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and enjoy life as long as it lasts. You only live once, but I also have to say, when you get all emotional you do your best work! V (:

My wife "had" Cancer!!!! That was the worst thing ever!!! But, we got through it. Now 5 years later, we have a baby, doctors said we could never have because of the Cemo!!! Well, they were wrong and we have never been happier!!!! When you are at the bottom of the barrel or glass, there is only one way up!!! Peace ;) dave

I've been there, and so has a very close friend of mine, near the brink of death. Sometimes the only way to appreciate the face of life, is to look death in the eye. On the bottom, GOD reached out to me and here i am 7 or 8 years later, much more sober, and with a heart of love, and constantly amazed by GOD's invisible yet very present power, and UNFAILING LOVE... Jesus said that his grace is sufficiant for you, for his strength in you is perfected in weakness. You might not believe in him, but believe in me, when i tell you, that i used to persicute christians to the high hills, and here now I am one myself, I hope Love finds you too. Don't give in, and your strength too will be perfected through your weakness. excellent pic by the way.

Keep reaching out for that next day, my friend. You have created a very haunting and intensely focused piece here. Whether or not you are aware of this, you are a true inspiration to a lot of people in the community.
