Interesting, but it disturbs me. I downloaded it and flipped it both left and then right and it looks much better either way IMO. Looks like a dried up leaf, but I'm not sure what it is resting on.

So much ice already? Brrr. Neat photo tho - masterful comp on this. I like the ambiguity of the precise setting - makes one work a bit in the reading of the image; in a gallery people would stop and stare for awhile, rather than the glance and move on.
