Description

The pair moved cautiously through the derelict spacecraft. Perhaps there were survivors. If not, perhaps salvage. Suddenly ominous sounds began to echo through the darkened halls. Guns at the ready, the two travellers realized they were surrounded... but by what?

Eeeeee... this is creepy! I think there is too much light. If it was a lot darker, it would be much more oppressive/scary. I love the guy with the pistol- I think firearms will be around for many more centuries (I have yet to see a lightsabre deflect a .45 slug!) |good story too.

thanks :) I'm glad you like it :) I agree with the light, but PCs typically see things darker than on a Mac and since I'm on a Mac with a flatscreen monitor (which is much brighter besides) I thought I'd err on the side of caution. Previous attempts to add more creep-factor made it too dark. I also agree with the weapons. Slug throwers are simple and efficient, and a bullet to the head is still a bullet to the head. Shotguns are great sci-fi weapons btw... all you need to do is puncture a spacesuit and low velocity pellets won't do something silly like wreck vital ship controls or crash pressure windows ;)
