Description
Just some lonely zealot throwing
Irresponsible flares around
Mostly for the thrill of it all.
Sparks merrily explode in the heavens,
Falling reluctantly back towards
Earth only to reveal undigested
Wisdom and fragments of promise.
Evidence of a life fully celebrated
Though improperly calibrated
Against the gauges of moral reality,
Yet in perfect lock-step harmony
With the spirit of happiness.
This is the first installment of 12 attempts to give a psychological face to the basic colors that we see around us.
Hope you enjoy!
to paint the world around them

I like it. It's a neat concept and this poem scans quite nicely. That irascible yet lovable red! Can't wait to see what you say about Green. Not sure if you really want the words wrapping around the graphic like that or not? I find it a bit distracting. Kind of messes with the rhythm, at least for me. You may want to consider hitting about 16 Returns at the top of your piece when you post, in order to get the words to fit nicely under the graphic. But you may already know that. ~jon

Unique idea and well written! It's interesting to see how I and others will see each color, from their own perspectives.
