Description
I live in an urban area and have never had any birds in the back garden. My partner Sally has been trying to encourage birds into the back garden for years, and she has recently succeeded. It's lovely sitting the back room looking out at the little guys. I'm now a big bird fan. I took this pic this morning. Its a common house Sparrow (male), his girlfriend was also in the garden. It was very cold (about 6 degrees C) and clear and bright, lovely winter sunshine. Just thought I would share :)

you really make the the sparrow look beautiful here. super clear focus. we have them by the thousands and most people take them for a nuisance, but I enjoy seeing them
