Description

Last August I went to one of my favorite places to shop, at the Soulard Market, in Soulard, the old French Quarter of St. Louis, MO. I took my camera (of course). Nearly every weekend there are 2-3 elderly minstrels who play for donations at this 200+ year old farmer's market. They are an institution and add a certain unique ambiance to the place. I captured this shot of the banjo player. He was playing alone that day. I really feel I captured something in this shot. I hope you see and agree.

the thing with this that is a bit bothersome is that the hinge of the truck is going up his nose.. otherwise it'd be a fine shot ;]

cynlee: I never noticed that hinge! I can remove it... and I think I shall. Excellent observation.
