Hello! My name is Jodie. I live in Minnesota where the temps can fluxuate by 20 degrees in one day. Most of my photos have been taken very close to my home, a 10 acre hobby farm., where I raise Alpacas and chickens. I am a band director, a musician/singer and a photographer/adviser on the yearbook committee. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I have a D90 and a D70. I also have a SB800 flash and favorite lens is Nikon 18-200mm AF-S, with VR. Revisiting the visual arts is something I should have done years ago. If I see something remarkable, I just try to capture it. Nobody else will ever see it quite that way again so I hope you try that, too. This is just like expensive therapy for us. Thank you for visiting and may you have a peaceful day!

Nice contrast in size and human/machine confrontation as well, with the bus seeming very inhuman although there is actually a driver just beyond the door. Excellent shot.

I am so touched. Thank you. Nobody has ever given me a story of my own before, and to have one by such a sensitive and adept storyteller is a huge boost. (I drove through Rochester on Sunday - Rochester, Kent, UK - how spooky is that!?) This has all the right elements, all the right proportions and could even become a film! The question is, is she leaving him for an adventure, or is this the bus to Glory Land? Is she in a show and goes on to become a fabulous star who sends for him, or does she get killed bysome 'hood' in a bar-room brawl? Again, thank you, Jodie, you have made my year!
