Description
T.King(c) Original Artwork 'Red Planet' Poster. The Enhanced Poster Print Edition image.
Now that my prints store is finally online, I figured it's time to start unveiling the enhanced print edition images. (visit http://www.cafepress.com/tkingart)
This is Mars in the distant future inspired image, depicting a military tech foundry built on a massive canyon.
('Enhanced Poster Edition' reduced to wallpaper use size: '1280x841')
Like all of my images, I hand-spline everything from the ground up, and UVW map everything with hand-painted textures.
I hope you enjoy this rendition.

Truly amazing, Tom! I always look forward to seeing your work and this is incredibly detailed! That is a lot of spline work! I gues that is fairly obvious, and lately I have been doing some low level architectural structures in Max and know the time it takes build something in that fashion. Probably much faster for you, though! =) Fantastic work on this image and glad you have your store up and running! Will have to check that out!! Outstanding work!!

Really great Tom ;) I thought you want to do some animation stuff from this ??? I have only saw the recon ship as animation from you. I like the metallic, industrial architecture, might be an android civilisation?

I visited your gallery and found soooo many excellent images. Wow, this one is awesome. Not only in modelling, textures and lighting but the entire design, atmosphere and cool idea with the tintet camera. Excellent stuff!
