I started Brycing in November of 2003 after being introduced to it through the owner of www.mulawa.net, Peter Hewitt. He created a set of tutorials and sent a group of us a book called Advanced Bryce Creations. His generoisity has led to many hours of joy for me as I create the images you will see in my gallery.
I was able to start Brycing because I no longer worked as a CAD drafter at the local foundry which lost most of its business to overseas businesses. My husband supports me for the time being but says when he retires, I get to go back to work so we have health insurance. We will see :D
Stats: Female, married, no children, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, drink Bacardi Limon and diet Pepsi(have since given this up...I still miss it, lol), love to golf, camp, play PC games and Bryce. I used to love to tend my garden so that's where my nick came from...Burpee Seeds.
Boring? Maybe but I'm happy :)

Does anyone know why this image is so distorted on the sides? The object on the right is cylindrical but looks oval. I'm in my usual camera position so I'm at a loss.

I don't know enough to say why the edges are curved, but the image grabbed my attention! Especially nice mats. I love the floating orb and relecting egg shape below. Thanks!

Kool composition, I think you might have the wrong camera picked for your final render ? Love the textures too and your modelling jobs...LOL & Cheer's :o)

Hey Jeff, this is a perpendicular (0 or 180 degree) camera shot, not the oblique default. That "egg" in the front is a sphere :D I use this alignment for most of my picts. I've just never seen it distorted to this extent...but hey, maybe they all are, huh? Lol.

Nice mats! Thanks for sharing!

Yes, the mats are fantastic & you've done an excellent job of mapping them onto some very interesting objects. The colors, lighting & sky all blend together very well also. The only things I find jarring & unnecessary are the bird & the flattened sphere above & to the left of the bird. They just seem uninteresting & randomly placed to me & throw off the balance of this otherwise superb image...

caught my eye in it's surrealness & texture.. fab gallery too! thanks to eric for the link ;]
