Choice
We miss this simple important point.
It's so easy to get lost in the details of our lives.
We forget that breathing, hearing, walking and having an ability to apprehend our surroundings is the greatest priviledge afforded a creature.
We stumble through with solemn faces heavy with anxiety and fear instead of the wide-eyed glee of a creature with a world to discover.
Choices. This creature needs to choose to discover, to change course, to apprehend the natural, the simple, the beautiful, the obvious, now.
Choose now and keep choosing. It is our gift.
And you have Eternity to Enjoy it!

At first I thought this was a large piece of bamboo, but upon closer examination I see it to be a metal drum. I must say that your sensitivity, composition and lighting are very illustrative and to the point. Congratulation on a wonderful and superb photograph.
