Description

This image replaces the version posted on Renderosity in early 2004. Deep Space Explorer Inspiration approaching Traveling Star Habitat "Depths of Dream". The Inspiration is shown quite small in the lower left hand corner of the image. I did this to attempt to convey the size difference between the one kilometer long starship and the 26 kilometer diameter habitat. Modeling and texturing for this scene were done using TrueSpace 6.6; running lights using Universe Image Creator 1.63, and background image from Hubble Space Telescope website.

Wow, that's a huge size difference. One can really appreciate how big the habitat is with the help of this image!

The universes biggest frisbee! Very cool indeed. It would be nice to see some bits of really finemodelling on the habitat to sell the idea of 'really big'.

Fine concept of the station..reminds me of one i have done..i guess its a must for spacestations beeing circular with symetric docking devices(apart from the ISS, but thats an oldtimer)
