Description


This once was a railway line from Consett steelworks to Sunderland it closed in 1985 i think. The photo's and postwork are mine but the idea came from a posting by Escafeld i'll remove it if he has any objections.

Well done Paul, you've cracked it! Looks like the old saddle tank is crossing one of the rail over road bridges. I ventured up to Sunderland South Dock around '85 when there used to be a small depot there. I suppose it's some housing estate now or a B&Q :) Cheers, Dave

Nice work........... the train does look as though it is coming out of the ground........ on a slightly different plane (POV) than the bridge...... groovy concept........... like the feel of the piece..... has a very BBC feel to it...........
