Description

Karelia, Russia. A large area of birch forests, rivers and thousands of lakes that signal the start of autumn with golden yellow and red leaves adorning the trees as geese fly south to escape the approaching winters grip. My entry into the Cornucopia3D "Autumn Colors Contest". A big thanks goes to all the guys at Cornucopia3D for staging the contest and all their hard work generally. As always critique warmly welcomed. Vue 5 Infinite.

It must be Infinite that gives the ability to do those millions of trees on the hillside with the light hitting them just so. I don't remember ever seeing anything like that. I used to try things like that in VistaPro, but the trees in that program will not hold up to close scrutiny.

I remember this image from the Cornucopia contest. It was my favorite. Great composition, excellent use of EcoSystems, good, warm light. A classic Vue scenery, perfectly done. Vote.
