Description
This is my first post in a long time. High city is a fully metallic city where integrated machines and houses make a more efficient place to live. High cities have advantages: less pollution, constant fresh air, stunning views, vertical traffic flow separation, etc... However, it is a good advice to wear a mini parachute and an oxygen device when go for a walk, just in case..
The base of the lower background city was generated with the remarkable Citygen plugin. Some others buildings, ships and textures are part of my Battle towers, Future buildings and Sci-fi textures packages on sale here at Renderosity. The rest was modeled from scratch.

Well, what a coincidence as I just spent the last hour in your gallery tonight! LOL! Very eerie! I must say this is yer another fantastic idea that is so creative and well thought out! Unfortunately, the suicide rate is probably much higher than normal and nobody in their right mind would ever clean the outside windows! There is also a concern for earthquakes and the inherent catastrophy it would incur. BUT...I have no doubt you have answers to all that, and it's probably somewhere in the C4D manual! LOL! I particularly like the foliage in the buildings as that would be a long walk just to get an orange! The human figures depict the scale nicely and the usual vbaretto exhaustive attention to detail is shown in full force here in all your glorious details! I'm assuming Citygen is a plugin for C4D, and I haven't heard of that one yet until now. Fantastic materials on the buildings, the rush hour effect of normal life vehicles, and the atmosphere is stunning! Another instant class from the Master, Superb work!!!

Oh my god you,... you have been busy! Your most awsome view yet! I like how you put snippits of greenery in there. The plants do make it look more "lived in". This was definitely worth waiting for!!! :)

Great pic. It looks a lot like Hong Kong as seen from the peak. I recently saw a sci fi film that used Hong Kong and Shanghai as cities of the future.

WWWOOOOWWWW scifi city is a theme I do like very much. In addition to that this is an excellent image of a scifi city.... great sense of depth/ scale. Especially the friendly urban area is a highlight of this render.... excellent and vote !!

Your buildings nicely blend seamlesly into the plugin city scape. Even the trees give a organic shade to what would be oppressive monstrosity. I have been studying what the significanc of living above the first floor is and have only really understood the second where David put his concubines after Absalom his son went into them. The third floor????????????????????? Ranch houses and churches insist on a single approach to height. A grand portrayal of the controversy.
