Description

Daru isn't just a pretty face. When the time comes, she knows how to defend herself and her friends. This image should make that quite clear. No self-respecting Twi'lek female would survive the harsh underworld of Ryloth very long without some basic combat training. What makes for a faster fighter than a toned, agile dancer's body? Daru knows how to wield a vibroaxe, among other weapons, with deadly accuracy. Her skill leads some to believe she may actually be Force Sensitive. I hope you like seeing Daru with a new outfit, setting, and attitude! I figured I couldn't keep her in the same slave outfit forever, so I started playing around with clothing options until I found something I liked. Then I applied the Beezlebabe pose and knew a weapon had to go in there. Soon came the environment, and the halberd, and whaddaya know? Daru's ready for combat! I mentioned last time about Twi'leks with exotic skin patterns, and chimera46 made an excellent render along those lines. I'm still struggling with creating the skin pattern. In the meantime, you can go check out his excellent work. Thanks for looking and for your comments!

Thank you, Washburn. I too am surprised at the lack of comments. It has gotten a respectable number of views though. :) But the feedback is what I really like. Thanks again for taking the time to post!

I'd hate to be on the business end of that ax thingy, and she looks great in clothes too! Thanks for the good press as well :) Suggestion though, notice how the texture stretches and gets blurry around the breasts? I'd suggest that either learn to use UV mapper (I have to do that myself), that you make her breasts smaller to lessen the distortion, or you pick a more plain texture.

Excellent work!! And here here, there is no need for smaller breast. The bigger they are the better. lol "V"

It's a really well-crafted, well-composed image. My one misgiving is that it's too dark. The lit walkway is fine for silhouetting her legs but it takes the focus away from her face and upper torso. Were this a photo, the photographer would have had a spotlight illuminating her head with some bleed onto her midriff.
