Description

For Kim (bentchick) who is learning the art of cloning and has just dedicated a wonderful image to me. Thanks Kim!!! This is the ruins of a castle across the road from my house. Not long ago there was a re-enactment of a siege of this castle, which gave me an opportunity to take many photographs of the people who acted on this day. The image of the castle was taken 1 year earlier. The people you see were from another image and cloned onto the castle background. The two people on the right were actually sitting to the left of the other four. The sky was cloned from a third image which was enlarged by 25% to cover the gap between the castle wall and the top of the picture. The people were dressed in the style of clothing that the castle residents would have worn on the day of the siege. I cloned in the image with the people in it with 50% opacity and the sky 100% and then colourized it sepia. All done in Paintshop Pro. Cheers all and thanks for your previous comments, Dave

Ghostly and spledid. With the toning, this image becomes masterful and haunting!
