Description

Zooming in you can see the water of Lake Geneva (Lac Vevey sounds pretty well too). I could correct the bluishness a bit better as you can see on this picture compared with yesterday's posting. The mountain with the tower is Mont Pèlerin (1080 m, 3543 ft, high above the lake that lies on an altitude of 372 m, 1220 ft), and this antenna is considered to be highly rated on the list of infamous antenna's of the world. what a beautiful capture, Jan-Carel! fantastic view! that's a very unusual looking tower. i never saw one like it before. it looks more like a rope ladder that's been thrown over the mountain. Hey, is that a cave i notice there in the upper right? looks lie a great place to explore! and what's that part on the right that looks like a golden waterfall? gorgeous view!!

Wow...I see the Lake!! :-) I was wondering what those two white lines were too Sheila and agree it looks like a rope ladder...lol :-) Amazing... very enjoyable trip and weather so far it looks like. :-) Excellent!!!

So crisp in the foreground, yet misty past the lake as though it's an imaginary land hiding behind a veil! Reminds me a bit of Brigadoon :)
