'With a tip of his hat and a raised eyebrow, one of Queensland's icons will be back in the public spotlight today. Castlemaine Perkins will begin a campaign to return Mr Fourex to 'thirst man in Queensland' status. The dapper little man, sporting a full black suit, yellow XXXX boater hat and raised glass, will feature in billboard advertising for the first time sence 1967. He will urge Queenslanders, 'My friends, you will find no finer brew than Fourex' Castlemaine Perkins regional director Mark Powell said the company reinstated Mr Fourex because of popular demand. 'Mr Fourex has been a symbol for many years. When I was a First Class Fettler in Queensland...no...there were no Queens...sigh...I would Drink a Case of Fourex Stubbies a Day...just to combat the Heat and make the Life of a Track Layer ...bearable...Cheers!
