Description

Today the fouth part of the elements series ^^ Wind. I imagine this element as a lively, small and active one. So I used Rhiannons Chantal with the Marditexture out of the pack. I've choosen the colour purple because I did not want to make 3 elements of 5 in blue ;). I think purple is a good choice to bridge from red to blue. This time no reflection again, but the ruffled renderaids by RDNA. Here I placed one of my own fabricshaders and set the transparency of the prop to 0.25, them stretched and adjusted it. I still do not know how to get dynamic clothes in a windy or more moved look. So if anyone has a tip, please say it to me. The calmness of the dress is the only pint I am not so glad with- but what the heck, I like the image although ;) Used: V3, Rhiannons character Chantal, Grace Lion Hair with a quickly done texture of mine :)-I swear the pose needed much longer;), SVDL Tunic with modyfied mat, ruffled curtain out of the freebies at RDNA with my own fabric shader, pose by Firebirdz out of the Art Noveau Set, lights by me.

I know what you mean with a more "windy" dress, but this is beautiful anyway. It's only more a zephyr than a storm and because of the color and the transparency the element is still believable, even without wind and blue ;o) As for the windy effect I recommand PhilC's tutorial "Using Dynamic Clothing in Poser 5...... Halter Dress" - sorry, there are no links allowed in comments...

Sieht toll aus ! Besonders der Satin-Background. Beim Titel " Wind " htest Du der Lady aber eine stmische Frisur verpassen sollen :-) Das Kleid ist Dir besonders gut gelungen ! V

Coool!!! ^_^ I think that character is very appropriate and the pose and colors really fit to the base idea, though i agree that a more "waving" vest would have been more effective!! About wind efect - any chance magnets might work on them? I don't really know since i have no dynamic clothing capablities... shrug Anyway it's a very beautiful addiction to your little series, and now i think a last one is missing? I'll have to go looking... ;)

If you're planning to use the Wind Force object, there's two things you have to keep in mind: first, the range of the wind force should be large enough to reach the dress (the default range is almost certainly too small) and second, you have to set the wind force object as a collision object for the dynamic cloth calculation. I love the colors and her pose, and the lighting is tops! Cool background prop too. Well done!
