Description

This is a view just before you get to the ladders to the cliff dwelling. I photoshopped out some people and handrails. Messed with a couple of filters and masks. I can't just upload a straight pic..lol.. ENJOY TODAY

With all the editing tools available for digital work i understand the need to play, lol. Postwork is not a vice as far as i am concerned. Sometimes we need to add things that aren't there, or change things that are there are take out things that are there. Your addictions are my addictions, lol. Great shot of a neat place.

The reds in the sandtstone above make this picture work for me. The overhang and hint of man (ladders) conjur up a myriad of stories.

Postwork used to be called dark room manipulation, which I guess is now ok as few do it anymore. The next step will be something like direct mind manipulation, and then the purist will say, "I miss all that hand work we did in photoshop, now that was art...." Oh, BTW Ray, great shot!

This is awesome! When I was a kid I went with my family to visit some cliff dwellings. I think it was the Mesa Verde, but it was really neat! Great post! 8-)

Bandelier is really an impressive place ! So many colors and contrasts in there. There just a problem when you live here.... if you forgot the salt... you have so many stairs to climb after ;o))))) Great !
