Description
The Chapter Room welcomed the monks on a daily basis. Under the supervision of the abbot, a chapter of the rule was read and the monks would confess their faults. They would also discuss the problems of the day. During the Middle Ages, the Abbot of Villers was elected here. Only the monks had access to daily chapters.
