Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

On the way to Gen-eva, I met the wife of Tom Sneva. Just my way of using an old wives tale to explore a path rutted by folk lore built on corrupt bible passages. Ah! there it is and I can even ignore war with it's phrases like, "Morning dawned bright and clear. The van of an army lay naked on the plain." This is Swiss neutrality as a vista.

Now this is quite a sight! Very interesting and sad to see how human beings spread all over the place, destroying huge pieces of land to build ugly buildings! :( But apart from those ugly buildings, the view is gorgeous! :)

YEAHHH!!!! Martigny! A place famous for: - The terrible and strong wind which blows 10 months per year... - One of the most glorious painting museum in Chocolateland... - A gorgeous shot from one of our most "swiss cuckooted" members in this community... BRAVO!!!

We are not allowed to stop on motorways, but there is always an alternative route nearby. Love the shot and as I have never set foot off the UK mainland, this is an excellent way to see the world, thanks!!!
