I realize it isn't the Star Chief but kenmo are you sure this is not a Laurentian? It looks like a Chevy of 1952 with Pontiac adapted trim. I know my friend's dad did not have the most expensive model but it's rear fenders were longer than these and the front fenders a bit more bulky?? The photo and illustration style you are developing is first rate. I can see the paint bluing and getting smokey streaks just before the rust breaks through. Silver Streak yes that was the model between Chieftain and Star Chief. Now I have to go look at what you have tagged.

Tallpindo... Very observant of you to not recognize this Pontiac... It is in fact a rare Canadian Pontiac which was not offered in the USA... They are as you've guessed based on the Chevy body and not the American Pontiac... http://www.cadvision.com/blanchas/54pontiac/differences.html

I loved the 50-52 GM models. I had a 50'Chevy that I would love to have now. from the cars I had in the past it was my favorite. excellent capture and plugin effect
