Description
I've been jumping around to various projects lately. But, I want to be sure this project doesn't collect dust on the shelf. I've decided to "comp" back in the Mars surface to make the scene more interesting to look at. When I'm done texturing the objects, I'll start work on the Mars surface itself in order to facilitate camera animation.
Thanks for looking. :)

Coming along very nicely. The modeling aspects of my learning C4D have been coming along nicely but the texturing has been a bit more difficult than I would have anticipated. You seem to have mastered this aspect of Cinema well.

It's certainly coming along.

This is really good, It looks kinda cartoonish, I bet it be great 4 animation.

Yea, I think the untextured "oxygen generator" on the right lends to the "cartoonish" look. I hope when I'm done, it will look anything but cartoonish. LOL!

Looks like its ready for some curious martians! I like everything you've modeled. Can't wait to see more!

Looking better. What about some windows to scale it up.

Great details in this wonderful composition. Nice work.* V****

Very nice and detailed model! Did you think about adding an astronaut to the scenery? You could add some sense of your model's size this way.

Really cool image!

Nice models, concept is believable. Would like to see you expand on this.

Thanks, orbital. Unfortunately, this project was lost in a hard drive crash. But, I am revisiting the concept, as this project was actually designed for a short story of mine. The final base station will probably be more elaborate and expansive, as the story seems to require it. Thanks for commenting. :)
