well its captured as seen it gives perspective of the scene and the background give genuine excellent dof.. plus helps us picture the scale of the castle in comparison to the landscape..l do like the road/land leading off in the distance..on the right..:)..:)) beautiful.. as seen captured well...:)

Fabulous capture (what lenses did you use, 500 mm or so?), diving into my archives - I recognised this immediately - I see I have the same capture but from the other side, 300 mm and 2 x TC! We could have shot each other Ha ha ha (if you were there July 24th, 1991)! Wasn't that Bernkastel? Wonderful work, all those Dutchmen visiting the Mosel area! :)
