Description

More of my modelling efforts with Cinema 4D (the ship and pod) . Everything else constructed in Bryce. Rendered mostly using textures from Curio's Industrial Derelict pack (which is quite simply - stunning!) and various other textures made and found! Sorry about the size, but the details were too nice to reduce! :)

Wowiee! I LOVE it! Very Chris Foss - and "real" sci-fi! Your modelling skills seem to be developing at a 100mph! Thanks for doing such nice things with my textures! :)

Fantastic I see a city a huge city one thats been in a galactic war one that its citizens who remain scavage for their food tall skyscrapers that look like a breath of wind would blow them over....but in the sky you see patrols and scavenger hunters scouring the city for what they can scrap to sell...simply sweet

This is awesome! Just up my alley. I just tried to buy Curio's new textures but having problems - now I'm really anxious to get them Beautiful work and a great idea.

Cool image Adam, impressive modeling and great textures - I would like to see a figure or two standing by the wreckage, if only for a sense of scale.

Excellent composition. Love the perspective, camera angle, and lighting. The towers in the background are great. Haven't checked in on your work in a while. Great stuff.

I like the size and the general idea very much! Why making it small if that isn't needed (I'll just wait a little longer for the image to download then)

In the late 70's and early 80's there was a team of English oil artists (Peter Elson was the name of one I think, and Fred Gambino was another) that produced a plethora of paintings around the theme of old, rusted space wrecks. As a teenager I loved them and I've always wished for the return of that style; before the pre 80's consumerism that made us believe that we would go on as a empire for ever. You have recaptured it. Well done!

The bigger the better baby! Poor devils that have dial-up! This is stunning! I love how expertly you have degraded the ships! Your earlier work, was all slick and clean. Nice to see the "Gritty" side of your renders!
