Description

This is fairly old... It was made for a shader tutorial I wrote on the mental ray subsurface scattering shaders, which can still be found at http://market.renderosity.com/~maya/Tutorial/subSurfaceScattering/sss1.html I got to looking at my rosity gallery and came to the conclusion that it's been a while since I've uploaded anything. Modeled in Maya, rendered in Mental ray, some minor color corrections in Shake. -Modulok-

Fairly old? Who cares how antiquated an art piece might be, quality workmanship has always withstood the test of time. Very credible character/creature. Wonderful work, sir.

ah Master Modulok, another excellent work. The modeling, texturing and overall look of the character is stunning. It makes me really believe such a creature exists.
