You really are an artful cook, lovely composition, art within art. Hope it tastes good and that your Holidays will be magic!
ifos
Another colourful and enticing food shot, although I feel that your painting is probably a little too dominant and that a crop from the top into a more square format would have focused on the salsa more. You are certainly going to have a great Thanksgiving. Excellent!!

An incredible image! I have always heard that food photography is quite difficult. I would say the results you have achieved show a highly talented and professional skill.

You are totally right Ian (ifos) with your observation in regards to the painting taking up too much space and the only explanation I have is that originally I planned on placing type in the upper portion of the painting. In the last minute, I decided to withhold the copy and use it only in the pdf cookbook under development for my friends. Never the less, I appreciate your comment as I should have presented another version in which copy was not a factor in the design and layout.

Oh! You have tickled my taste buds with this and the previous photograph of the ingredients. They are dancing all around my mouth. Beautiful sharp colors and lighting.

Your "easy to make" side recipe took this novice at it over an hour to complete last night. ;] Mine does not quite look as photogenic as yours, but I have to say that preliminary taste tests judge it a WINNER! Thanks for sharing it, and these lovely photos.
