Description

I just recieved my upgrade in the mail from Vue D'Esprit ver 4 to Vue Esprit ver 5... So you know I had to upload something... The terrain was created with metablobs... All objects are stock Vue... The image was rendered as final and then manipulated with Paint Shop Pro ver 9.0... The seagulls are from a car photo I shot and were then merged into the render using PSP... I am uncertain if this should be uploaded to the Vue or Mixed Media or 2D gallery... Perhaps someone could give their opinion on which gallery would be the best fit... And what is the difference between galleries 'Mixed Media' and '2D'...??? I often get confused on what gallery is the best fit for my upload... ** HAPPY THANKSGIVING to our American friends ** Cheers Kenmo

Alrighty Ken, 3D at last !!! you should post in the Vue 3D section, a little postwork is not enough in my opinion to post in mixed media, I guess it depends on the percentage of the progs you used ? great stuff & Cheer's :o)

Wow !!! what a wonderful 3d work you have made here.. I want to see much more of your 3d work!!!! I love the idea, composition, light and coloring. Gets my imagination going :-) Regarding posting in galleries I also think this should go into the Vue gallery (major part of the image is made with this application, and all/most 3d professional works are postprocessed a little for the final touch). I guess it depends on the amount of postwork. For me the 2D section is for drawings, paintings, digital paintings etc. Typically where no 3d application has been involved in the process. While the Mixed Media section for me is for images where different applications have been used to create an image, including addition of some 2D work, part of photographs etc. But you are right, the distinction is not that clear .. I guess it is mostly up to the author, and also I think we will be told if we are totally out of line with a posting. Anyways this work is really good and shoud be printed in a book was it up to me :-) Excllent work
