Description

Hi there :-) I didn't post something for a long time, so I thougt it would be good to fill my galery again. This one is inspired by vbaretto (cheers:-) ... just another little city-from-scratch. I used City-Gen for the front-ground-buildings and simple displacement for the buildings near the horizon. The rest is the work from a bored afternoon (except the Chrysler-Building:-). The upper one is with very less specularity (right word for using a mirror?), the lower one with lots of specularity. I like the lower one more, but it's a bit irritating I think - what do you think?

Looks great. Showing the interior somewhat reflecting in the window is a good idea. Maybe tone down the reflection a bit. In a daytime scene, the reflection may not be as prominent.

I prefer the bottom one. Excellent work.

Cheers! cool POV. We have to "terminate" the irritating flies in the near future. I'd prefer a merge of the two.
