Description

A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of my friends across the "ditch" in the USA! Our Canadian Thanksgiving was back on October 10th... so the only leftovers from the turkey dinner are fond memories... ;) But I'll be thinking of you guys while we dine elegantly on balogna sandwiches tonight... lol!

Three APO flames for the turkey.. one for the pumpkin (spherized in PSP) and one more for the pumpkin stem. The oak leaf and a white dot in the eye of the turkey were added in PSP.

Thanks ever so much for the amazing comments you were kind enough to leave under Sermon To The Birds... I appreciate your time and thoughts tremendously! And thank you for having a peek at this one... :) Hugs! Helen

From the pen of the hunter, I shall extol the beauties of the bird. It reeks of likeness! Colours are stunningly similar. I commend your attention to the male bird for a wary eye so bright. Now we have 6" snow on the pumpkin.Yours is real! Oak is the colour of my wife's new Christmas Kitchen--an oak one!! Happy Thanksgiving to our U.S.A.!! (I'd like one sandwich, please.) Please contact the OFAH re putting the Turkey on the next Ontario Out Of Doors magazine--A Creative Winner!!!

Several years ago I was camping somewhere in the mountains of West Virginia with a buddy when we heard this crashing coming down through the trees. It was a wild turkey making some kind of emergency landing, about as graceful as a meteorite of some sort. It certainly wasn't anywhere near as plump and beautiful as this one! I think I just ate most of him but I'm starting to recover, those pies won't stand a chance. This is really amazing fractal work but I'm never surprised at the quality of your images, just always surprised at the depth and scope of your imagination.
