Wow! A lot of cut firewood. I'm surprised that the tree is still standing there. Run Tree! Run! Before they get you too. A really beautiful capture in the fog. A very impressive image. Aloha

Excellent composition. Forground leads nicely to the main element and the soft mood is well captured. - Bob

Now that is a lot of fire wood. I thought I had too much. Love the mood and setting you captured. I especially like the tree which has numerous branches in need of trimming as they are dead, but then it also gives the tree character.

Wow, what a great find! Beautiful capture, very thought-provoking, the living wood and what is left of it after sawing! :)

excellent capture with the fog moving in or out as the case maybe. I am not a fan of firewood-burning or transporting

Very sad and depressing when one stops to think how long it takes a spaling to grow into a tree. Very well composed, though. Very thought provoking.

Rather sad that this one tree is standing yet the remains of the others are all around it. Thought provoking and wonderful compo :)

How did I manage to miss this?!? The tree is giving itself up for firewood? A truck dumped it's load on the road? A terrific image no matter what the situation. =]
