The lower of the two images seems to be clearer, sharper and brighter. As you havn't said which is which. Are you going to tell? Roz

very close but the color of the rose is a little different in each. I don't know enough to guess either, but what the heck..I say the bottom is digital. neat idea. :-)

Ahhh, that is great, comparing these cams! The differences show up very well! Impressive work, I guess Canon is the last one (and best one)!

The bottom one is sharper, less color gradient bleed, Cannon. But in a way, its like trying to compare Harleys & Honds; both are top notch; but I'd never buy foreign; as a photog, its the QUALITY that counts irrespective of make!

Excellent comparison.....!!!! The difference but notable is without doubts the type of different colors, and the definition of the lightly better image with the Canon Rebel.....!!!!

I'd never know which one is which but I love both, although the one in the bottom seems a bit sharper and the top one is blurry but more colorful. Both are great along with the macro shot. Excellent, Richard!!!

Oh thank you so much for uploading pics to compare the cameras. I am on a CRT that has some sunlight hitting the screen, so I cannot see all that well. lol. Not sure which is which...but I will take a guess. I would say the top one is the Fuji because it picked up more detail, such as the water drops. So the second image would be the Canon, which is a bit flatter but sharper. Tough call. lol. Do we get a prize if we guess it right ???? :-D Both are geat shots !!!

No idea but interesting comparison. They both have good points and less than good points. Other than the slight shift in focal point beacuse of a slightly different camera/flower angle, the major difference seems to be one of color. Not having the flower to look at for comparison, i can only say i think the bottom photo is the more realistic. I would assume that makes it the Fugi since i am reluctant to believe digital is as precise as film in capturing what is really there. It will be interesting to check back and see what really is what. Thanks for the demo. It is thought provoking.

I wouldn't know the comparison but if I had to pick one it would be the top one don't ask me why. I do agree with the person above though each one has its good points V Cathy xoxoxo

I hate tests! Most of the time when I don't know the answer, I guess - so I'll say #2 :) #2 appears clearer and cleaner on its DOF line, but the #1 did pick up the water drops. Amazing the differences! Makes me wonder how different we see things with our own eyes amongst one another? Bravo!

I have no idea but both are beautiful, with the dew drops still on them. Actually the lower one reminds me of floral design school where I learned to make roses from wood fibre, a very rich and beautiful medium that looks wet:-) Have a simply marvelous weekend Richard, loved this!

Top looks digital to me - out of focus, grainy, blotchy color, poor contrast. Now watch me announced as wrong.... :)

Knowing that my Fuji just hates shades of red, I'd say the top one's the Fuji???
