The way up Sgorr Dhearg gets rocky and is quite demanding.
The ridge we took gets very steep and exposed toward the top, where there are a few "entertaining" steps needed.
It left us both exhilerated and as white as a ghost!
Never the less the views open out of the Glencoe hills and beyond, with the clouds forming and disolving around us, we were treated to some dramatic shifting light shows.
"Tranqility base" as a title was due to the real feeling of getting away from it all.
Glencoe has always been a special place to me, but staying in the "Isles of Glencoe" hotel added a touch of real luxury in a stunning location after a day out in the hills.....and why not eh?
