Thank you so much for your comments on my last upload. :-) I do hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
This photo was taken on October 23rd verrry early in the morning following our first little snowfall. After I snapped this picture of the snow melting off of the leaves, I stood up and saw 2 deer in the meadow down below! Of course, when I stood up quickly, they saw me too, and took off so I missed the picture. Ah well...I enjoyed watching them bound towards me into the camoflage of the shrubs... hehe I did wait very quietly to see if they would venture back out but it started to rain. : /

Wonderful story, love those shared experiences, the thrill of the unexpected! We had some snow today as well resulting in chaos in traffic on railways and roads! But you're right, snow IS cleansing somewhat, covering all the dirt in this world with a spotless white cover! Wonderful work, Maggie! :)

dont you just HATE when that happens!!!?? (Scaring away deer, birds, etc... and miss that shot!!!) Oh but this photo is very special .. You have a very sharp eye, to be able to see the beauty in something so simple as this... I just LOVE this photo ... its positively gorgeous!

Superb shot Mags... so clear, and eeps frost and snow, I"m not ready for either quite yet... :) Love this one as it shows the green of the leaves against the frost which always has a lovely effect.

OMG!!!! Do you realize that you are only 2.... count 'em...... two uploads away from the "big" number?????? Congrats in advance and I'll be sure to catch that one in the next couple days! Oh yeah.... we were talking deer, were we not? Oh, if I could have a dollar for every missed shot..... Bill Gates would have to move over!!! The other day I was in a hurry and I missed.. not one..... not two..... but three shots! A fox being one of them and I haven't even seen one in a couple years :( (extremely heavy sigh!!!) Notice how I am avoiding the conversation of anything to do with snow or winter...... take that as a hint..... I'm not ready!!!! Well, except for that burning desire to ski!!!! Must be the Gemini in me.... all this love/hate syndrom!!!! AAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!! Sorry, just trying to fill a void while Andreas is gone, bla bla bla!!!! LOL :P Hugs!!

A shame you never got the deer captured .. but this picture is really so wonderful - and you saw them so you got something out of your morning walk :)) ... It is so weird for me to see frost and snow .. hearing that it is like that in Denmark too right now .. when it still feels like summer here ! .. LOL .. well I guess I will get used to it :)) ...
