Very nice likeness of him. I also like the way that you matched the shadows on him to the shadows in the background (at least Im guessing its a backdrop photo?). The placement of the Enterprise is a bit awkward, though, with the nacel resting right on top of his head like that. Perhaps it would look better if it were smaller and to our left? Nevertheless, it still a very kewl image!

yup..it's a Terragen background, but the 'shadow mapping' is always a good way to blend the 2. (been there, done that..;) The Enterprise does draw away from the character a touch, but you could always make it smaller, or farther away in the sky. Good solid work, keep it up.

Hey Rigo, I've been watching the Spock series go by from a distance. Impressed with the like-ness, maybe not perfect but instantly recognizable from the thumbs. Perhaps the chin is just a tad too square, but you've been working on it you know better than I. Guess you were just anxious to get the Enterprise into the shot because placing it in between the mountain and Spock makes the ship the size of a wierd shaped mini-van. Congrats on going for it because with this subject matter I'm sure you're running into hard-core fans critiquing All kinds of trekkie details. How 'bout some extreme action shots with Spock?
