Description

Read something by Wlliam Blake that said when you die all thats left is pure imagination, therefore, what you can imagine becomes instantaneous reality. This place is what I imagine: the water is 3 feet deep the stairs to the roof are around back your thoughts can have 2d form in the air around yu (if you like)

I see...up to your usual most serious coolness. My thoughts take the place of a memory. An old running coach/friend, an accomplished runner from Scotland who taught English Lit at the local college in Mississippi. This image for some reason reminds me of untold miles run and friendship that will always be remembered even past the hours of life. They say an image is most profound when it causes the mind to travel...thank you for the brief sojourn my friend, hope you are well. a very big vote! -jay Oh, and I should have added, this guy lived Robert Burns.

watching tv with the station off and thinking is out of range for you and the phone is not ringing but you will look at the tv with the stations off. The thinkers thinking hard and the phone do not ringing and the water is comeing up. For the water is seas of people doing the same as the figure on the floor...super looking

What strikes me most is that Indian TV call sign mural that you would see on TV in the (1950,1960 era) late at night when all stations had signed out and offten for no apparent reason one would just stair at. Thinking of what? I don't remember. "V"

I hope there's no telephones in heaven. Unless of coarse, I may end up somewhere else. This reminds me of how thoughts manifested in "What Dreams May Come" one of my favorite films. Excellent surrealism as usual. Happy Holidays too.

This image has a haunting, melancholy quality to it (maybe especially so with images of the submersion of New Orleans fresh in my mind). I generally don't search for symbolism in art, but this one seems to be begging to be interpreted in one way or another. What I get from this is the vision of a world that develops increasingly sophisticated technology to facilitate communication & yet one in which (ironically) many individuals develop a sense of isolation. It's a bleaker vision than my own, though it certainly has some truth in it & this image conveys it very effectively & skillfully...

I had not been a fan of surrealism but since being a member of Rendo, I've seen some of the most imaginative and mind bending talented works of aRt offered in surreal style. This style has become one of my faves and this image is one of the many reasons for that. Thank you, bravo!**

Ah yes, the once, well known famous ''test pattern'' on the ol' television. Back when there were only '3' networks broadcasting signals. "Just my imagination .... running away with me" (Old,Motown, Temptations song). Which sends me immediately to another one, "Ball Of Confusion". WINK. Just SUPERB artwork! Peace to you and yours, kind soul. TallPockets/brian.

imagination to inspiration to revelation... the imagination, the image, precedes thought and opens the doors of discovery to reveal all that man is... nice work.*

& your tapped in to the main line of it! brilliant in all it's surrealness, yet very orderly in the placement.. you make these objects go together as if that's the way it's always been.. long time since i've stared at a test pattern ;]

Silver Birch said same thing "what you can imagine becomes instantaneous reality". But it is a story of spiritual world. Love this clear surreal image. Excellent original artwork as usual. And beautiful. o||:o)
