And the legend says that the soul fell in love with its image ...and reached out to touch this image, only to fall into the world as a slave of the flesh...but finding the book of the law she seeks her true nature behind the illusion of the flesh...

I think I never took a look at your gallery when I made my first comment on your most recent picture... Glad I did, this looks so amazing! I love everything about it, her pose and the interest that shows in her face, the book on her lap, her dress (amazing job on the folds) and the light is really excellent! Incredible work of art!

You have such a large exhibition to take in, Lorraine, and I always limit my viewing to a number of images I can fully explore and enjoy, that it is taking me quite some time to discover all the wonders you have created. It has taken four and a half years for this vision to reach me .. and yet it appears as fresh to my eyes as if you posted it yesterday. This is a beautiful interpretation of a very significant archetype. I like that her focus is within the Torah as opposed to being directed at the viewer. The tone and mood is wondrous as well. Yes .. I think I will take a copy home with me to hang on the wall. Beautifully crafted! Terry
