Description

Turning a little bit further to the right as Philippe adviced I had hoped to see Chillon's Castle but I still cannot recognise it (sites like this one show the castle from a far better POV). Tomorrow I hope to turn the camera in the other direction, looking in the direction of the sun. Enjoy your weekend! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 200 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

This castle is so incredible that I could drive 1 hour and half from my house especially to shoot it! You should have turned a little bit more, dear...

Nice picture, Jan-Carel. I notice that the power lines and pylons seem to be a russet colour, merging into the background. Possibly reflection of the late sun. In Scotland they always seem to stand out. Regards, John.

A sunlit city on a coastline brings hope. Perhaps the residents are far friendlier than the tiny rual village I have come from.

Hi Jan Carel, I love the way the sun is shining in some places (probably due to clouds) Again a great shot of Geneva!

Strange effect those cables bending over the mountain. Makes me aware of the fact that I haven't been there so long.

beautiful countryside and city. I see they have the ugly transmission lines obstructing the natural flow as here. they are a necessary evil. I look forward to the castle
